James is a seasoned financial professional with 20 years of experience and recognized expertise in planning for individuals with disabilities and their families. A national speaker and educator, he regularly provides continuing education to legal, financial, and tax professionals on complex estate and special needs planning matters.

James is the past Chair of the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester. His professional recognition includes being named a Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree and one of the nation’s top investment advisors under 40 by InvestmentNews. He also previously served as a member of the Forbes Business Advisory Council.

James holds the Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. Outside of work, he enjoys playing squash, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family.
